Queenstown is located on the Eastern Shore of Queen Anne’s County, Maryland, US. The city of Queenstown stretches over 1.45 square miles. Moreover, the city is home to only 664 people. The population density is 457.9 inhabitants per square mile. Furthermore, the racial makeup of this city is 92.9% White, 3.2% African American, and the rest are from other races.

Originally, Queenstown was the county seat of Queen Anne's County. However, it changed to Centreville afterward. It is on a prime location as during the 18th century; it was navigated by tradesmen at the nearby creek. Unfortunately, this city was a hub for shipping before it got attacked by English troops in the War of 1812. This region is packed up with many famous historical sites. Bowlingly, St. Peter’s Church, and Bloomingdale are also ranked on the National Register of Historic Places.

Like most of the other cities in Maryland, Queenstown also experiences warm summers and cool winters. The average temperature all over the year is 1 °C. Moreover, the highest in January is 6 °C, and the lowest is in July, i.e., 4 °C. The city also experiences 41.7mm precipitation. People living here also experience the considerate amount of snowfall, i.e., 13 inches, which is more or less similar to other cities in Maryland. Kent Narrows is another place that is loved by people coming here. It is simply a waterway that connects Chester River with the Eastern Bay.
